ACADEMIC RESPECTABILITY AS MORAL REFERENCE-POINT OF PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION OF FUTURE EDUCATORS

In the article analyzes the essence of academic virtue on the basis of the analysis of scientific works and normative legal documents, identifies the inherent values of it, provides a list of possible violations by participants of the educational process and sanctions that should be applied to violators. It is concluded that academic virtue is a moral quality and at the same time a reputational characteristic of a participant in the educational process, which is reflected in his moral consciousness and actions corresponding to the values of honesty, fairness, honesty, trust, courage, responsibility, courage.

The possibilities of increasing the level of academic integrity through its institutionalization in the current legislation, development of a virtuous ideology of higher education institution and creation of a virtuous environment in it, development of personal spiritual potential of participants of educational process through enlightenment, aimed at promoting comprehension and understanding necessity, their realization in pedagogical, scientific, educational and cognitive activity.

The results of a survey of future educators regarding their awareness of the problem of academic integrity and their attitude to this norm are presented, which testify to their preference that the requirements for adherence to the principles of academic integrity relate to scientific and pedagogical workers of institutions of higher education, and consequently lack of independence responsibility for the quality of education and training, principles and rules of integrity of the student as a future tutor, as well as the teacher of the board of education.

It is proposed to solve the problem of educating the academic integrity of future educators, which is to develop ethical standards of virtuous behavior (above all, codes of academic integrity, student honor); carrying out educational work on acquaintance with the essence, principles and rules of academic integrity, as well as with possible violations of its norms and sanctions against them; cultivating integrity in the activities of participants in the educational process, encouraging moral actions, cultivating respect for oneself and others, responsibility for learning outcomes.
