The article presents an analysis of the modernization of professional training of preschool educators in accordance with the European tendencies in the development of pedagogical education. The author highlights the priority aspects of the training of specialists in the preschool industry and analytically compares the distinctive features with the European concepts of pedagogical education.
Modernization of professional training of preschool educators was analyzed in the context of educational policy, administrative and managerial aspects, structural and procedural transformations of pedagogical education. The author determines that at the present stage of the modernization of professional training of preschool educators was determined by a set of conceptual, structural, content and methodological changes: introduction of acmeological, competence, axiological approaches, permanent updating of humanistic tendencies in pedagogical education, active use of practically oriented education, studies in research and training on a research basis. The author established that European tendencies of modernization of professional training of preschool education teachers take place at the contextual, structural, functional and procedural levels.
