THE USE OF THE PROTECTIVE FUNCTION OF THE GAME IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

The article deals with the use of the protectice function of the game in
the educational process of preschool education institutions. Presentation of own
experience of teaching work on the organization and management of play activities of
five-year-old children was carried out; the scharacteristics with the help of which the
game can be attributed to a protective means of ensuring a comfortable stay of the
child in society were revealed.
The peculiarities of play as an independent and leading activity of a child, which,
first of all, is based on the emotional state and the accumulated experience of its
relations with adults and peers, are considered. It was found that the game requires
skillful pedagogical guidance. Game plays an important place in the life of a preschool
child, because it leads to his independent activity. It is noted that through play children
interact with objective reality, learn the cultural and historical heritage of society,
learn to actively act and create. In the game, children on their own initiative contact
with each other, build their own relationships, feel comfort and satisfaction. If the
game activity is free and unforced,the game relationships act as a voluntary training,
through which the child learns the moral and ethical norms of behavior.
Children who need a protective function of the play are often disorganized,
aggressive, insufficiently socialized. They often conflict with peers. Such children
have specific problems in communication that need to be corrected. When organizing
joint games with such a child, the educator seeks to help him believe in himself, in the
sincerity of a positive attitude towards him, first of the educator, and later of his peers.
The game is the most comfortable environment for self-expression and selfaffirmation of the child. In this activity, children gain positive life experiences.
