The article deals with the analysis of the genesis of the concept of “pedagogical technology” in the history of pedagogical thought. It is proved that in a modern institutions of preschool education, pedagogical technology is a system-forming factor of educational process, ensuring its integrity, consistency and regularity. Pedagogical technology is categorized in the article as a component of the pedagogical system, which includes purpose setting, development and phased implementation of the educational process project with specifically defined tools and provides the planned learning results.
The algorithm of pedagogical technology implementation has been determined. The methodological criteria of the application of pedagogical technologies: conceptual, systemic, controllability, efficiency, reproducibility have been updated. The principles, which should correspond to pedagogical technology used in the education of children of preschool age: the humanistic philosophical basis, general pedagogical in terms of implementation, sociogenic, personally oriented, associative-reflexive, self-development oriented, adapted for group and individual application have been defined.
