HISTORICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE GENESIS OF HUMANIZATION AND HUMANITARIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN UKRAINE

The article presents the results of historical and pedagogical analysis of the genesis of humanization and humanitarianization of higher education in Ukraine: the scientific substantiation of this process due to the historical conditions of social development; its dynamics are analyzed; the argumentation of the process of its development in concrete-historical conditions as one of the basic principles of world outlook is given. The peculiarities of the genesis of humanization and humanization of higher education in the context of historical periods and social problems are clarified.

New ideas in the process of humanization and humanitarianization of higher education began to be introduced in the 90s of the 20^th century, in the period of Ukraine's independence. The developed normative documents and programs in the field of education in general and higher education in particular have identified the main trends in the development of higher education in Ukraine.

According to the results of historical and pedagogical analysis, it was found that the humanization and humanization of higher education as a socio-pedagogical phenomenon, reflects the leading social trend of modern educational transformations. It was aimed at the development of personality as a subject of creative work, cognition and communication, determines the humane relationship of teachers and students, provides for their subject-subject relationship in the educational process, in which priority is given to the development of creative individuality. Today, the humanization and humanization of higher education is seen as one of the fundamental principles of worldview, based on the belief in the limitless possibilities of the individual, in his ability to self-improvement, to protect their civil rights and freedoms.

The current need for reforms in higher education is associated with new social conditions with the transition to a new, post-industrial type of civilization, which necessitates the synchronization of educational processes with the general trends of human society.
