The article emphasizes that the axiological essence of Ukrainian fiction in adolescence is presented by the naturally non-intrusive transition of humanistic and value orientations into the inner heritage of the middle-aged teenager. After all, it is in this age period that he desperately needs to imitate, as a result of meaningful reading, the positive actions of the heroes of works of art, perceived not only on the cognitive and emotional levels, but also in the manifestations of their own behavior.
Particular attention is paid to the fact that the axiological influence of fiction in adolescents is becoming more important due to the specifics of the perception of what is read by middle-aged adolescents. It is proved that the decisive role of Ukrainian fiction for the formation of value orientations of middle-aged adolescents is that the artistic word leads to great changes in the emotional sphere of the reader, promotes his reactions to various life events, changes his attitude to the world and himself . Due to the literary possibilities in the process of reading the teenager reflects in his imagination a certain picture, a specific situation, image, experiences the described events, and the stronger his experience, the richer his feelings and ideas about reality. The teenager seems to penetrate into the events of the work of art, as if becoming a participant in them. Thus, acquiring a living meaning of moral norms and rules of conduct, available in works of art, are perceived and become value life orientations. - Downloads
