ASCENT TO THE NATION THROUGH SOLIDARITY: THE PEDAGOGICAL IDEAS OF T.D.DEMYANYUK

In the article the pedagogical ideas of T. D. Demyanyuk on becoming a citizen of the Ukrainian state are analyzed; the basics of the imperative "Ascent to the Nation through Solidarity" are revealed based on the formation of Ukrainian national identity, education of national solidarity in the younger generation, to be accountable to the state and to cooperate in solidarity with other citizens for the benefit of the community, the state, the nation. The urgency of the problem of defining and substantiating the values ​​of the Ukrainian nation as a central condition of national unity, security and successful development of the state of Ukraine is proved. It is revealed that the basis of formation and consolidation of the Ukrainian nation are dominant national values that create a Ukrainian positive national identity, in particular: national dignity and pride, devotion, national solidarity and self-sufficiency, responsibility, tolerance. The education of national solidarity in the individual is characterized as a guarantee of further sustainable development and strengthening of the Ukrainian nation, where each member will feel responsible first and foremost to the state and nation, while based on humanistic principles allows the formation of values in another civil nation. In particular, the ability to build interpersonal and interethnic interaction during different activities, focused on achieving national success and defending national interests. Recognition of national-civic patriotism as an important basis for the consolidation of the Ukrainian nation is considered.
