FEATURES OF THE STUDY OF MATHEMATICS CYCLE DISCIPLINES IN AN INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN CONDITIONS OF BLENDED LEARNING

The article substantiates the specifics of studying the disciplines of the mathematical cycle in a higher education institution. The peculiarities of studying the disciplines of the mathematical cycle in the institution of higher education in the conditions of mixed education are characterized. The advantages of blended learning over distance learning are substantiated. The effectiveness of the combination of online and offline teaching formats in mathematical disciplines has been proven, which makes it possible to meet the educational needs of students, such as the need for individualization of education, the presence of constant contact with the teacher, the possibility of increasing the time allocated for learning the material and completing tasks.

In the article, the blended learning of the disciplines of the mathematical cycle is considered as an independent, open, branched system, which, in interaction with the information and educational environment, ensures the mandatory achievement of both normative and individualized goals.

From the point of view of teaching the disciplines of the mathematical cycle, the models of mixed learning are characterized, such as: rotational model (rotation by stations, rotation by laboratories, model of the «inverted» class, individual rotation), flexible model, model of self-mixing, model of enriched virtual learning.

The use of various online services for studying the disciplines of the mathematical cycle in higher education is substantiated, such as: Moodle, Google Meet, Zoom platforms; their advantages and disadvantages are highlighted.

The possibility of using a number of relevant online resources during mixed learning of mathematics cycle disciplines was analyzed, such as: the GeoGebra mathematics program, the GIOS (Global Innovative Online School) platform, the «My Class» service, the EdEra online education studio website course «Mathematics. Simple», LearningApps.org service, Desmos math calculator, Pattern-shapes templates, etc.

It has been proven that for the effective assimilation of knowledge in the subjects of the mathematical cycle, the need for a combination of online and offline learning formats is the most expedient for the successful acquisition of relevant competencies and program learning outcomes by students.
