FORMATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF THE CLASSROOMS OF THE NEW UKRAINIAN SCHOOL: 7 ZONES AND THEIR CHARACTERISTICS

The article describes the need to create an effective educational space that will be comfortable for all participants in the educational process.
The educational space is a component of the educational environment, managed for the pupil to feel himself comfortable, to study interesting and exciting.
It is substantiated that the modern educational space of NUS is a flexible, interesting space that uses IT technologies, new multimedia learning tools that create a variety of opportunities for different types of activities, cause joy, stimulate imagination, and motivate learning.
It is noted that the construction of educational space includes the principles of flexibility (quick change of space depending on the needs of the educational process) and stability (continuity of the process, consistency of perception and activity, maintains order in space and manageability in work).
It is noted that the educational space is based on the principle of flexibility (quick change of the space depending on the needs of the educational process) and stability (continuity of the process, consistency of perception and activity, maintains the order in space and manageability in work). It has been proven that the basis of the new model is the observance of barrier-free principles and the creation of an inclusive environment.
The key qualities of the modern educational space, which ensure the implementation of modern approaches in education, have been singled out: integrity, unity and orderliness of the subject-spatial environment and visual perception; multifunctionality, flexibility and mobility; age appropriateness; personalization, personal space; freedom, openness of perception, creativity; practicality and ergonomics; harmony and balance; socialization and cooperation.
The list of requirements and recommendations for the creation of an educational space in a secondary education institution, developed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, is given.
Seven main classroom zones of the New Ukrainian School were analyzed, namely: discovery zone; news zone; materials zone; communication zone; thematic zone; Teacher's zone; silence zone. The role of each of the identified zones in the formation of the educational space of the NUS classrooms has been clarified.
