PEDAGOGY OF PEACE (WAR) IN METHODOLOGICAL REFLECTION

Pedagogy for peace is education and at the same time education for security and a response to threats to peace and war.

This publication is an attempt to reflect on the reality of the security of society, the nation, the state and the individual himself through the prism of role and science in the context of the pedagogy of war, which  constantly functions in various forms.

In the content of the proposed study, the paradigm of pedagogy of war and peace is presented as a potential pedagogical field of research within the framework of the research methodology based on the concept of linguistic images of the world.

The premise of this concept is the interdependence of thought and speech, it is obvious that language is not a means of presenting knowledge of truth, but a means of discovering truths that are unknown yet.

Therefore, coverage the issues of upbringing and education for safety, related to theoretical (linguistic) skills, and not specific skills, competencies and character traits of people - certainly obliges educators to look for new solutions and pedagogical proposals as a research category that the author of this publication tries to present.
