Abstract

Christian pedagogy, like religious pedagogy, belongs to the circle of philosophical anthropology, which defines the type of scientific and transcendental-humanistic rationality. The rationality of this pedagogy is based on its multiple layers. The recognition of transcendent properties in Christian pedagogy provides a solid basis for a logical distinction between what is human and what exists only within nature.

Person is a fundamental category of social and especially pedagogical sciences, from the concept and understanding of which depends not only the system of these sciences, but also their purpose. When considering interreligious issues, it is necessary to determine who is a person in Christian pedagogy? This allows us to formulate answers in three directions: man as a path in this pedagogy (as in a very young scientific subdiscipline), human dignity in the light of Christian anthropology, and human subjectivity.

These three directions, which form the main structure of the article, introduce the pedagogy of the Church (and not only) to the elements of metaphysics, which are interpreted as means of human education. It is all the more important that these tools go beyond pedagogy, which is seen as the art of observation and measurement. The content of the article proves that we should apply richer criteria of rationality to the person than to the natural world, and that it is passionate about the person. Therefore, the article does not highlight the paradigmatic exceptions of upbringing; that is, his dignity, subordination, and dialogicity. From the scientific bed turned education, education, about the Christian, appeals to anthropology. The support of the theocentric view of Christian pedagogy is enriched by an anthropocentric view. The purpose of the article is to present the elements of integrated rational thinking in the teachings of the Christian tradition, hoping to inspire many losses of the meaning of the Absolute and human existence.
