The article is devoted to the actual problem of preschool education. In the article the problem of professional training of future specialists in preschool education in conditions of reforming the system of preschool education is revealed; the peculiarities of the humanistic paradigm and its importance in the professional training of educators are defined. The analysis of ideas and views of T.Ponimanska concerning the training of future educators for the upbringing of preschool children according to the principles of humanism is carried out and the humanistic orientation of the personality of the educator is substantiated.
With a new understanding of the relationship between a person and the world, the search for ways to humanize education is linked, first of all, to the training of the teacher, the formation of his humanistic world outlook. The humanist orientation of the educator's personality is ideals, interests, values orientations.
