CREATION OF A MODERN EDUCATIONAL SPACE IN GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS BASED ON THE PEDAGOGICS OF REGGIO EMILIA

The article deals with the possibility of creating a modern educational space in institutions of general secondary education based on the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia

It is noted that in the process of organization the educational space in the institution of general secondary education, the advice of the Italian psychologist and teacher Loris Malaguzzi (1920-1994) - the founder of Reggio Emilia pedagogy, based on a combination of psychology and pedagogy, a non-standard and “flexible” approach, belief in every child and the development of his creative potential will be valuable and interesting to general education. It is emphasized that the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia is a guide in which recommendations for creating an educational environment are substantiated. They can be used when designing a “flexible” educational space of a general secondary education institution.

It is emphasized that the educational space should encourage students to research and creativity, awaken and motivate interest in learning, and give children freedom of action.

The principles of the organization of the educational space are outlined: the educational environment should be useful and educational with the use of various means; space should not limit children in learning and learning, be accessible and a field for independence; captivate and motivate learning.

It was found that Loris Malaguzzi allocated functional zones in the space of the classroom (in addition to the standard learning zone), that are necessary for the organization of a high-quality and exciting educational process, in particular: a research zone, a creative workshop, functional walls, a place for dialogue, a zone for games and performances.

The principles of organizing the educational space of classrooms, libraries, sports facilities and recreational areas were analyzed.
