TECHNOLOGIES OF EDUCATION IN NUSH: MUSEUM PEDAGOGY

The article is devoted to the problem of national and patriotic education of primary schoolchildren by means of museum pedagogy. Museum pedagogy is considered in the article as an innovative pedagogical technology aimed at the education and development of the individual (especially its axiological sphere); as a technology that offers a qualitatively new level of mastering culture and art on the basis of museum collections and, on this basis, the implementation of the main tasks of national-patriotic education.

The means of museum pedagogy are distinguished: museums, museum collections, museum environment, museum objects, museum expositions (exhibitions), museum communication, which is implemented in museum lectures, lessons, excursions, and competitions. The article outlines the pedagogical potential of such tool of museum pedagogy as museum communication, which is considered as a process of communication between a visitor and museum exhibits that are original in their origin and purpose.

A brief description of museum interactivity is made, which involves the active participation of the museum audience in the process of museum communication in order to gain personal experience for better mastery of the museum space, involving museum visitors in active, creative activities with objects, collections of expositions, through various cultural and educational forms.

The author presents a typology of museums functioning on the basis of general secondary education institutions and the educational potential of the museum of a general secondary education institution (school museum).

A brief description of such forms of museum pedagogy as a theatrical quest and an interactive lesson “Great-grandmother’s Chest” is given.
