DUAL FORM OF OBTAINING HIGHER EDUCATIONAS A MEANS OF PROFESSIONAL SOCIALIZATION OF YOUTH

The article summarizes the theory and practice of the dual form of obtaining higher education as a means of professional socialization of youth.

In order to determine the role of dual education in the process of professional socialization of the individual, in improving the professional training of specialists, the author characterized the essence of the concepts of «socialization», «professional socialization».

It was established that the issue of professional socialization of youth is extremely important in the context of actualizing the problem of labor market development in general and youth employment in particular. Therefore, taking into account the results of the study, the emphasis is placed on the proposals proposed by theorists and practitioners on the implementation of a system of measures that can significantly reduce the level of unemployment among youth. Among others, the search and implementation of effective forms, methods and means to increase the level of mastery of professional competencies by graduates in accordance with the expectations of employers. Today, higher education institutions are expanding cooperation with both Ukrainian and international companies, gradually introducing dual education, organizing various events together with stakeholders and involving them in the development of educational programs.

Today, the practice of dual education is gaining momentum both in theoretical and practical, and organizational and methodological dimensions. Compared with the first experience of implementing educational programs in the dual form of education in Ukraine, regulatory support has been regulated, methodological guidelines have been proposed based on the results of pilot experiments, and resources have been created containing valuable materials on dual education.

At the current stage of development of the education system of Ukraine, the implementation of dual education – a promising form of obtaining higher education, aimed at improving the quality of training of education seekers for professional activity in general and increasing the level of professional socialization in particular, is gaining relevance and vital necessity. Aspects of the implementation of the above tasks are the subject of further research, theoretical-practical and organizational-methodological searches for effective models of the dual form of obtaining higher education as a means of professional socialization of youth.
