The article deals with the problems of labor education of preschool children in the social and economic conditions of the development of modern society. A short digression into the history of the issue is presented, positions are being actualized in the search for content, methods and tasks of the organization of child labor in pre-school educational institutions. The approaches of T. I. Ponimanska to solving the problems of labor education in the textbook “Preschool Pedagogy” are disclosed, and the ways of further improving the formation of the child's personality through means of labor education are described.

Six questions-questions, answers-considerations which will help systematize the content of the problem, check the level of understanding of the problem, and outline the ways of in-depth study of this problem in the field of labor education are offered by the author
