The article highlights the expediency of using information and communication technologies in the course of national education of preschool children. Their essence and types are revealed, and the role of computer technologies that diversify the educational process in preschool education institutions is analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the use of multimedia tools, their pedagogical potential in particular, presentations that strengthen children’s motivation, intensify their cognitive activity and contribute to a better consolidation of ethnographic material in the process of national education. The forms and methods of using a multimedia presentation depend on the purpose, tasks, and content of the ethnographic lesson.

Attention is paid to multimedia presentation usage in ethnology classes. Examples of their usage during the study of individual topics in the process of national education of preschoolers are given. The teacher’s usage of multimedia presentations, taking into account preschool children’s characteristics, their emotional and sensory sphere, thinking, and imagination, will make it possible to conduct classes at a high professional level.
