EXPERIENCE OF PROFESSIONAL TOURIST EDUCATION IN THE USA AND SWITZERLAND IN RESPECT OF SCIENTISTS AND PROJECTING ITS APPLICATION IN UKRAINE

The article summarizes the experience of professional tourism education in the US and Switzerland in the reception of Ukrainian comparative scientists and the context of its use in Ukraine. The topicality and practical revelance of the problem is due to the development of tourism as a factor in multicultural education of the individual .Its causes the need to expand and improve the national system of professional training of tourism managers.

Based on the analysis of the achievements of domestic comparative scientists on the development of professional tourism education in the US, the possibilities of its use for improving the training of tourism managers in Ukraine have been determined. (partterns of professional training of specialists on the criterion of correlation between tourism and hospitality industry; providing students with ample opportunity to choose a profile and specialty of study according to their interests and abilities; the dynamism, flexibility of the organization of the educational process in higher education institutions and its ability to modernize according to the public demands and challenges of the labor market; interdisciplinarity and research orientation of the training process, etc.).

The Swiss model of tourism education is considered to be one of the best in Europe due to its diversification of educational services ; purposeful reformatting of the list of professional qualifications and updating of the content of educational programs according to the labor market; close cooperation of specialized educational institutions with industry organizations and public institutions, etc.. Taking into consideration that the current scientific paradigms and concepts of reforming Ukraine's education system, the use of US and Swiss experience is effective and long-term for the development and improvement of the national model of vocational preparation of future tourism managers.
