The article deals with the theoretical aspects of the formation of morality in modern youth by meams of the institution of the family. It was
established that the state of modern society was reflected in the values and attitudes of young people, family and moral values have become the highest guidelines in the life of the younger generation. There were identified the ways
to overcome problems in family life, which contributes to the formation of a young person’s personality,
It was noted that education and upbringing are important for the mental development of the child. There is also feedback - advancement in development has a positive effect on education and upbringing. The biological program of
brain development is always implemented in a specific environment, which can
contribute to or interfere of his development. The question of the connection between the progress of a person’s spiritual culture and social development has always been acute, though not always realized. The history of the national
original Ukrainian culture reflects the extraordinary drama of the historical
existence of the Ukrainian people.
Based on the main points of scientists, we came to the conclusion that the values of family life are the main components of the formation of the modern
young personality. Nowadays when the values of family life, the moral norms of the modern family have a significant impact on the formation of morality of modern young people, the issue of promoting the original spiritual and moral principles, rather than violence and permissiveness, is especially acute.
The results of the study suggested that the family is the basis for building a modern morally healthy civil society. And the future of the family institution largely depends on the system of universal and family values. Therefore, it is
important to form in young people the correct worldview and family life attitudes, focused on the morality upbriniging.
