THE USE OF THE MOZAIK INTERACTIVE PLATFORM IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS OF PUBLIC DISCIPLINES

The article describes the properties of the interactive platform Mozaik and the specifics of its use in the educational process of social sciences. The didactic significance of media is studied. It is noted that their use activates the cognitive activity of the individual, deepens his perception of new information, which generally increases the efficiency and quality of learning. It is emphasized that the mozaBook software package can be used at all stages of lectures and practical classes in various social sciences, as well as the organization of independent work of students on methods of teaching civic and historical education. The didactic functions of the tools of the mozaBook program are formulated and the expediency of using the software possibilities of attaching information of different format (“Calendar”, “Portrait Gallery”, “Time Machine”, “miniMap”, “Countries”, “Globe”, “Tests”, “Questionnaire” and other) to explain and illustrate the theoretical material in order to generalize and systematize knowledge. The multifunctional nature of the Mozaik platform is noted, in particular, organizational and methodological support of social sciences, the ability to implement practical learning goals, the use of various media products (digital resources) for the formation of information and communication, civic and social competencies of students. It is emphasized that the media diversify the ways of organizing individual and group work of students, and pair and group work stimulates cooperation and interactivity. It has been found that due to the advantages such as flexibility and choice of individual pace, time, topic and purpose of the lesson, the interactive platform Mozaik together with its auxiliary components is the media that allows classes informative, informative and accessible to students.
