The article describes the innovative technologies of distance learning of foreign languages in primary school. Based on the generalization of the results of the analysis of domestic scientific sources, it was found that the problems of distance learning are the subject of modern pedagogy. The key principles on which the system of distance learning of foreign languages is based are analyzed.
It is proved that the study of English in distance education largely depends on the level of students' skills of self-organization, self-discipline, self-control, attention, will, motivation to learn it. The main platforms on which it is convenient to conduct distance learning of primary school students are described.
Visualization tools that are effective during distance learning of foreign languages in primary school are described. It is noted that in today's extreme conditions during quarantine interactive distance learning methods are becoming increasingly popular, which is based on the purposeful work of teachers, students and parents, because during distance learning teachers need more than ever to pay attention to student motivation to learning foreign languages, as noting the strengths and strengths of each child's work gives them enthusiasm and a desire to work even better.
It is stated that in order to ensure a full-fledged educational process at a distance, in addition to technical tools, teachers need to have a number of professional and personal competencies that will interest, organize students at the initial stage and keep their attention until the final. It is noted that organizing quality learning using digital technologies, communicating with students at a distance, inspiring and motivating them to learn, helping parents - these are the skills that should now be in addition to our teachers.
In general, the competencies and skills that a modern teacher should possess are already prescribed in the draft of the new professional standard for the professions "Primary school teacher of general secondary education" and "General secondary school teacher". It has been proven that primary school students are a special category of children who perceive learning through play. Therefore, the teacher will need to think about the scenario of the online lesson not only with game elements, but also with the obligatory communication and cooperation of students with each other.
