THE PECULIARITIES OF PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS IN THE EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT: FOREIGN COUNTRIES EXPERIENCE

The article deals with the peculiarities of pedagogical skills in the educational management of foreign countries. The educational management serves regulatory functions, and may also create standards of quality for teaching and learning, and opportunities for authentic engagement of staff, students and communities. Evidence-based policies are critical to the way that contemporary schools are run. Schools face several systemic challenges when attempting to assemble and write solid policy documents. In general, teaching staff, including school leaders, report increased stress and burnout, and describe feeling undervalued and underpaid.

The article clarifies that pedagogical skills include administrative, organizational, educational and social activities of the pedagogical staff. Insuring functioning of all these components is impossible without proper educational management. The general tendencies in the educational management of foreign countries have been characterized and the main approaches to the organization have been singled out. It is emphasized that the implementation of a constructive policy of educational management involves stakeholders, students, parents, teaching staff.

It has been found out that the teaching process should be clearly defined and structured, and the educational management should be logical and anthropocentric at each stage of students’ educational and cognitive activities. Taking into account the peculiarities of foreign educational management enables to plan the teaching process in educational institutions of our country. The implementation of certain features of foreign educational system enriches the management approaches in the system in Ukraine.
