THE ROLE OF THE FAMILY IN THE MORAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN

The article examines the role of the family in the moral education of children and reveals the features of moral education. The opinion that moral education is very important for the full development of the child is substantiated. The moral upbringing of children takes place throughout their lives, and the environment in which a child develops and grows plays a decisive role in the formation of a child's morality.

The author concludes that teaching a child moral principles is an extremely important task for parents. The family is one of the main sources of moral education of children. The rules of conduct adopted in the family are very quickly assimilated by the child and perceived by him as the rules of the norm. The first task of parents is to help children identify the objects of their feelings and make them socially valuable. Feelings allow a person to feel pleasure after doing the right thing or make him feel remorse if moral norms have been violated. The basis of such feelings is laid in childhood, and the task of parents to help their child in this. Discuss moral issues with her, help form a system of moral values.

Based on the study of psychological and pedagogical literature, it is established that the development of morality in a child is inseparable from its social development. If for some reason the child does not have sufficiently developed social skills, he becomes prone to immoral behavior.
