Abstract

The article reveals the approaches to professional education of higher education students at Rivne State University for the Humanities. The contribution of Professor T. Demіanіuk to the development of professional education of graduates of pedagogical specialties by means of academic disciplines is outlined. A description of the organization and implementation of the camp assembly - a form of educational practice that provides training for future teachers of pedagogical specialties to organization of extracurricular educational work, including children's health and recreation camps was made.

In particular, the essence of the module “Methods of organizing the camp assembly” (discipline ”Theory and methods of education”) was revealed. It involves studying the legal framework of the children's health and recreation institution, the basics of its organization, the technology of the counselor in the children's health and recreation camp. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspect of the training сamp – the organization of two thematic days “Hello, summer!” and “Let Ukraine be free for all years, for all ages”.

It is summarized that the training camp is an important component of professional training and professional education for future teachers; it ensures the realization of their professional and creative potential, strengthening theoretical knowledge obtained in the process of mastering the psychological and pedagogical sciences, mastering the system of practical skills and abilities. Its implementation in the new socio-cultural conditions is essential for the training of highly qualified specialists.
