COOPERATION BETWEEN PRE-SCHOOL EDUCATORS AND PARENTS RAISING CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

The article theoretically substantiates the problem of cooperation between preschool educators and parents raising children with special educational needs in the conditions of inclusive education. Modern approaches to inclusive and preschool education were considered. The essence characteristics of the concepts: “inclusive education”, “cooperation”, “children with special educational needs” were defined and clarified. One of the most important components of the educational process in modern preschool education establishments is the organization of work with the parents of children. It has been proven that success in working with children is impossible without a strong systemic connection with the family. In modern society, there are many families raising children with special educational needs who are not ready to take full responsibility for the full development of the child. Therefore, the close cooperation of teachers and parents, who have their own opportunities for joint organization and holding of educational events for children with special educational needs, is particularly important. Educational programs for children with special educational needs become more meaningful and effective when parents become active members of the team. With the passive position of the parents, the child’s educational program takes on a compromising character to a large extent.

Taking into account the problem of inclusive education in Ukraine, the issue of cooperation between educators and parents who raise children with special educational needs becomes important, because the family is a strong support for a child and the most important factor in its socialization. Nowadays there are families in which a child with special educational needs becomes a heavy burden for parents. Such parents try to pretend that everything is fine and refuse personal communication with the teacher. They are full of frustration and anger towards everyone around them. In order to establish contact with such a family and help it, it is important to find a special, individual approach to it. It is very important to help such parents to believe in their own strength, to believe in the strength of their children, to accept and love them as they are.
