The article deals with the aspect of multicultural education of preschool children as this stage is the most favorable for the formation of their multicultural worldview. The author proposes a program of cooperation between parents and teachers in the field of multicultural education of children, which should not only contain new ideas, but also help to understand them and achieve positive results.
It is substantiated that the program of parental cooperation is focused on achieving important goals in the upbringing of children and is determined not only by their individual characteristics, but also by the general concepts of modern education. The aim of the program is to stimulate parental interest, hope and support, contributing to the development of various aspects of the child’s personality. The key principles for developing program content are: accumulation, innovation, mobilization, specificity and quality. The principle of accumulation takes into account the inclusion of provisions in the program that properly accumulate and reflect the interests of different groups of parents. The innovation principle involves the introduction of new ideas and approaches into the program to promote active and targeted parenting. The mobilization principle aims to arouse the desire and aspiration of parents to implement theoretical knowledge in the practice of raising children in cooperation with them. The principle of specificity and quality implies clear and understandable formulation of the program provisions, taking into account their quality and actual applicability. The program should mobilize parents by stimulating their desire to implement theoretical knowledge in their child-rearing practices in cooperation with them. When evaluating its content, they should find answers to their questions and understand the possible consequences for their families, themselves and their children if the proposed provisions are successfully implemented.
