The article deals with the peculiarity of the spirit of the teacher V. Sukhomlynsky is his bright practical character and deep reflexivity. The native landscapes, harmonious family life, school culture, and social situation had a uniform influence on Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi's individual spiritual growth. V. Sukhomlynsky studied diligently, acted actively, and wrote continuously, combining study, reflection, and activity into an organic single system.

Thanks to his theoretical ideas and systematic practical research throughout his life, Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi deservedly belongs to the cohort of the world’s great teachers, and the formation of his pedagogical spirit shows us a certain direction of movement.
