Abstract

The article examines the content and main characteristics of the educational-information environment of a modern higher education institution and its impact on the training of specialists for the information-technology sphere. The leading approaches to defining the concept of the educational environment in the context of the professional training of IT specialists are presented: ecological-pedagogical, communicative, anthropological-psychological, and upbringing-oriented. The functioning of the university's information-educational environment is analysed at three levels: global (in the context of worldwide and regional information flows that reflect the educational space of a specific field of specialist training), local (as an information-technological and organisational resource of the higher education institution where IT specialists are trained), and personal (in terms of the individual information resource of each subject (stakeholder) of the educational program for training IT specialists).

The axiological approach to the problem of professional training of IT specialists at the university is presented in several dichotomous planes: virtual and real; personal and environmental; universal and professional. The necessity of taking into account the axiological context of professional and personal nature in the training of specialists (values, freedom, equality, reality, authenticity, culture) is substantiated. It is concluded that a separate component of the axiological approach to the problem of professional training of IT specialists is the value-meaning discourse of the educational sphere, represented by such basic values as absolute (goodness, love, truth, dignity, freedom, etc.), civic (law, duty, respect), and social (society, collective, individual). The structure of the value-meaning sphere of future IT specialists is clarified in the totality of values-goals, values-knowledge, values-skills, and values-attitudes.
