ПСИХОЛОГО-ПЕДАГОГІЧНА СУТНІСТЬ ВЗАЄМИН БАТЬКІВ ТА ДІТЕЙ ДОШКІЛЬНОГО ВІКУ

The article presents the views of Ukrainian and foreign scholars on the content of the concept of “relationship”, “parent-child relationship”. The author considers parent-child relationships like the process and the result of individual selective reflection of family ties that mediate internal and external activity and feelings of parents and children in their common action. The author points out that close emotional relationships with  mother for a child are the most important ones for successful overcoming of difficult situations. These relationships support effective difficulties resistance, provide child’s feeling of safety, reduce the level of anxiety. That is why in the conditions of difficult situation child uses the strategy of adherence that includes his or her active behavior focused on establishment of close relationships with mother.

Basic structural constituents of parent/child relationships are adult’s attitude towards child and child’s attitude towards parents. Adult’s attitude towards child determines peculiarities of parent/child relationships as child is not a subject of processes that cause the effect of parents’ attitude determinants.
