The article reveals the essence and significance of the university’s digital educational environment as a factor in the formation of professional culture and competencies of future specialists. It is emphasized that the digital transformation of education necessitates a change in the pedagogical paradigm, in which the principles of individualization, openness, partnership, and independence of the education seeker dominate. The digital educational environment is considered as an integrated system of technical, communication, motivational, and value components that ensure the effectiveness of the educational process, promote the development of information culture, media literacy, and professional ethics.
Modern digital platforms (Moodle, Google Workspace for Education, Microsoft Teams, Chat GPT, simulation laboratories) that create conditions for interactive learning, collaboration, development of analytical thinking, self-education, and communication culture were analyzed. It is emphasized that the use of intelligent technologies requires adherence to the principles of academic integrity, ethics of digital interaction, and responsibility for the results of one’s own activities. It has been proven that the professional culture of a future specialist is an integrative result of the formation of competencies - cognitive, operational, communicative and value-based, which ensure his competitiveness in the digital society.
It has been established that digital interaction acts as a pedagogical mechanism for the development of soft skills (collaboration, facilitation, leadership, critical thinking), and also forms a culture of academic discourse, self-reflection, and continuous professional growth. It was concluded that the university's digital educational environment is not only a technical platform, but also a cultural and educational space for the formation of the personality of a future specialist, his professional culture, ethics, and readiness for lifelong learning.
